Kyle graduated from Mount Saint Vincent University in 2000 with his B.Ed. in Elementary Methods and in 2006 with his M.Ed. in Diverse Learners (Special Education). He was employed as a teacher in the Halifax Regional Centre for Eduction (former HRSB) from 2000 – 2013. During this time Kyle became involved with the NSTU, holding different elected positions including Dartmouth Local President from 2008 to 2013. In 2013, he was hired as a Staff Officer by NSTU where he works in Member Services with responsibilities in contract interpretation, negotiations and pension services.
