HALIFAX, NS - September 11, 2024 - The Board of Directors (the Board) of Public Service Superannuation Plan Trustee Incorporated has approved in concept the addition of new levels of participation in the Public Service Superannuation Plan (the PSSP or Plan).*

HALIFAX, NS -- Public Service Superannuation Plan Trustee Inc. (PSSPTI) announced today that the Public Service Superannuation Plan (Plan) achieved a positive net return of 7.93 per cent, which generated $595 million in total investment income for the fiscal year 2023-2024. This performance exceeded the actuarial assumed rate of return of 5.75 per cent but fell short of the policy benchmark of 9.96 per cent.
